it was family friendly with nightly s’mores and plenty of seating areas to relax besides being in the room.

The location was outstanding on the River. I was disappointed with the lack of something from the hotel as they knew we were celebrating our anniversary and my wife's birthday in successive days. The room had a loud knock in the heating and cooling system that was truly annoying. The Bar was totally intolerable from the construction. The beds were comfortable but pillows need improved. Booking.com did not let us know that the second night would be a different charge than the first night. This was most frustrating

Our receptionist upgraded our room to a Riverview. We were beyond thankful! We loved the complementary cookies upon check in and the s’mores after dinner by the fire pit. We loved the photo backdrop/spot in the lobby and took a great picture there. The gift shop was cute and convenient. The ferry to the Riverwalk was perfect. The views were amazing and we loved the essential oils in our room to help us sleep better at night! I highly recommend this resort.

The rooms were nice and clean. Housekeeping was terrific and the front desk was top-notch.
